Supporting,  encouraging and mentoring women who are current or aspiring recreational and professional pilots in the greater San Diego area. The goals of the Ninety-Nines organization are:

• Friendship Through Flight
• Flight Training Scholarships
• Aviation Education in the Community
• Preserve the History of Women in Aviation

The San Diego Chapter generally meets on the 4th Saturday of the month,  at Gillespie/KSEE or Montgomery/KMYF airports.  For meetings at the Gillespie Airport Speer hangars,  enter the parking lot on 2090 N.  Marshall and follow the "99s" signs.  (Any aspiring or current non-member aviatrix is welcome to drop by and meet us!)  To find out more about future meetings and events or directions,  see our Calendar of Events or E-mail us.

• September 11th - San Diego Super Safety Seminar at Gillespie Field- The SD99s host a Flying Companion Seminar for non-pilots. See our FCS page for details.
  
• September 18th - Ramona Airport Open House
• September 25th - NO General Meeting,  99s are encouraged to attend the Super Safety Seminar
  
• Oct 7-10th,  Fall SW   Section Meeting in Orange County,   CA

• April 27th - 30th  2011 SW Spring Section Meeting in San Diego! The San Diego Chapter hosts 99s from all over CA,  AZ,  NV,  &  UT for a weekend fun at the KMYF Sheraton Four points.
• July 13-17th The 99s International convention in Oklahoma City, OK
  
• Oct 21st-23rd 2011 Joint SW & SC Section meeting in Durango, CO
